Just signed it . The dwarf slag is trying it on again. If he doesn't sell up at the end of the season the protests have to go direct to dwarf towers in Epping..

Will the club be bothered if they do not renew? They can then sell it at full price...

Re: OAP season tickets age change , petition
On the OAP age, it's counter-intuitive to suggest that the number of people affected is so small as to be largely irrelevant. The difference to the club may well be irrelevant but the impact upon those affected will be way more far-reaching

Not all of us old gits have the privilege of a works pension. The stadium is full of old farts is because most have been season ticket holders for years prior to the move to the bowl
and have suffered enough over the years to warrant a discount, And for the board to sneak in the age change in , proves exactly what the club think of there loyal fans.

Re: OAP season tickets age change , petition
I happily pay half price for season tickets, but when I retired I paid off the mortgage and other loans so with my work pension I had more to spend than when working. At 65 I started to get my state pension on top of that, so like most of us old gits, I am far better off now than when working. No wonder the stadium is full of old farts.

As someone you has followed regularly West Ham since the early 70s and a season ticket holder for over 30 years , why should I not renew my season ticket, that’s just a defeatist attitude, why let them think they can increase prices and change the OAP age without any consultation with the fans, remember the protest March when thousands turned up let’s get the same response with this petition, last thingthe board doesn’t want us bad press.

Re: OAP season tickets age change , petition
Why has the club increased the season ticket price by 8% for the some and 4% for others,
Imagine it your neighbour got a increase of only 4% in there gas bill and you an increase of 8% , sign the petition don’t let Sullivan and co think they can treat us fans as mugs. If we let them get away with this without a whimper what’s next.

Re: OAP season tickets age change , petition
The only real way to protest is to not renew.

They will ignore the petition (even if they see it) but low ST sales will frighten the shit out of them.

Re: OAP season tickets age change , petition
Got nothing to do with Government policy.West Ham and Villa are the only Premier League clubs to have increased the age to 66.Most of our fans have had a 8% increase.spurs by the way froze their prices.Club are really trying it on here. The fans need to stick together and give a big show of strength.

You should have said it was for all price rises then. Signed

Re: OAP season tickets age change , petition
Come on everyone sigh the petition this price increase affects everyone not just OAPs
Most premiership clubs have frozen ticket prices Tottenham including, and most still except 65 as the discount age for OAP season tickets , Why have West Ham chosen to increase prices in a recession is nothing more than greed.

Branded
It’s not all about the age the government classes as an OAP is about the sneaking way the club has changed the age limit , also the petition is about the increase in cost of season tickets in general when most are struggling to pay the bills, the club has treated loyal fans like customers signing this petition is a way us fans can have our say. No one is forcing anyone to sign if they don’t agree with the petition, but at least someone is trying to stop the club taking the piss.

Re: OAP season tickets age change , petition
Just signed this as very mean spirited I feel especially baring in mind how difficult the souless bowl is to access for those of a certain age with the stop go boards all the long way round some are forced to walk to the station and the hike up to the seats in the upper tiers.
I saw one old bloke nearly pass out trying to get up to his seat in row sixty something.
What's the any old irons lot go to say about this ?

Shirley there must be a reach around this by going LBGT hopefully without being neutered?

Re: OAP season tickets age change , petition
I dunno...

... and why should anyone over 60 benefit from free public transport in London?

I think this is a mealy mouthed decision by the club. There's absolutely no need to align it with the state pension age.

Presumably it'll move up to 67 and then 68 in time

It's cunty

Re: OAP season tickets age change , petition

I wonder how many this change effects?

Anyway, if you’re not an OAP why SHOULD you get a discount? Historically I can see how the drop in income would be a reasonable justification for the discount.
